A Jester (also known as a joker, jokester, fool, wit-cracker, prankster, or buffoon) is a member of a profession that first became popular in the Middle Ages. Jesters were always known to be wearing brightly colored clothing and eccentric hats, in a motley pattern. Their unique hats, sometimes called the cap 'n bells or cockscomb, were especially distinctive; made from cloth material, they were floppy and extended to three points (or liliripes) which each had a bell on the end. The three points of the hat symbolized the donkey's ears and tail worn by jesters of earlier times. Jesters often had a distinct laughter and carried a mock scepter, known as a bauble or maharoof.
Cold Cast is a modern method of casting sculptures using a mixture of resin and powdered polymer materials. The finished sculpture has a surface which looks very similar to traditionally cast material, but tends to be much lighter.
