This assortment of 12 wet flies is perfect for catching trout. They come in a durable fly box with ripple and flat foam (as pictured).
Wet flies are designed to sink below the water's surface. They are designed to represent underwater prey, such as nymphs, larva, pupa, drowned insects, and baitfish. Feeding trout will often target insects that are sucked underwater by the current or drowned in the process of hatching. Much of the fisherman's success when using wet flies depends on giving realistic action to the fly in the water.
